Blinkybugs are small, simple, electromechanical bugs that respond to stimulus such as movement, vibrations, or air currents. They are constructed by hand from LEDs, wire, and other miscellaneous electronic bits, and are powered by a single coin-cell battery.
When "stimulated," blinkybugs blink in interesting rhythmic patterns, making them seem alive. Yet at the same time they are incredibly simple, and can be understood after just a few seconds of observation. Each blinkybug is made by hand, and each is unique.
